All About Gunther, Wiggle Waggle Walk Spokespet!
Crazy for cats? Show your love for your feline friends by supporting me in the 29th Annual Wiggle Waggle Walk! I’ve got a friendly competition going on with my fellow spokespet pals, but we all know that cats will leap above the rest to show them how it’s done!
If you aren’t able to participate in the walk yourself, you can still support my friends at the HBSPCA by contributing to one of the official spokespets pages, like mine!
Good thing cats have 9 lives, because I went through quite a few of them during my time on the streets! I was living in an outdoor colony, and my caregiver noticed I was thin, walking funny and only had half a tail. When she brought me to the HBSPCA through the Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) program, I was examined by a vet who found that in addition to my stumpy tail, I had also been hit by a car at some point. I had also contracted FIV, which is a common health concern affecting outdoor cats like me.
All that is behind me now, and I am very happy in my new life. I love to wake my new parents up at 5 am just for a snuggle, and my pastimes include chasing springs, playing with my turbo ball, sticking my tongue out during belly rubs and receiving all the affection I can get. My parents think they are lucky to have adopted me, but I think I am the lucky one to have found my loving fur-ever home!
